AMANDA SUE ALBERTSON

writer. poet. photographer. artist. naturalist.

I grew up always on the move. Scattered memories of different places was a constant up until my move to New Hampshire. Not knowing much about New England I decided to give it a go & have not left since that decision back in 2009. I now reside in a beautiful A frame style cabin in the woods of NH. Growing up I spent my summers on the family farm in rural Indiana and this is where my love for nature began. Picking wildflowers, taking long walks around the country, watching the animals, and running through the sunflowers.

I spend a lot of my free time in nature, tracking animals, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors. I have always  loved the concept of encapsulating pure moments onto a paper whether it be through ink/words or through images/photography.

Nature speaks to me & I feel it is my duty to spread the message with others.

                                                                      ...

Nature is my life. I feel at ease when surrounded by trees, in the woods, and hiking mountains.

Naturalism speaks to my heart as I live and breath nature every day. I attribute the way I live my life to that of a call to nature.  I value honesty & integrity through all my actions. I respect nature fully and dedicate my life to learning all I can from the natural world. Whether it be a wander through the woods to find unseen landscapes, discovering healing properties in the plant world, or tracking animals in my backyard.

I choose to express my reflections on life & nature through wood burning, painting, photography, poetry,  herbal concoctions, tea blends and sharing stories with those who are able to listen.

Feel free to contact me for custom artwork, photography, herbal blends, etc.
